Fergus leads One Big Field. With over 10 years experience of translating business visions into viable, digital experiences, Fergus runs all engagements at the practice. He has worked at some of the best, award winning design agencies the UK has to offer: Sapient, Conchango [now EMC Consulting UK], Fortune Cookie, E3 Media, Enable, Graphico DMG & Yucca. Ben

Ben Akin-Smith, strategist
Ben is an expert digital strategist, devising tactical and strategic planning to help clients acquire and retain customers. He has vast experience in all aspects of digital marketing, a passion for innovation and the future of digital. He’s worked in three continents for multinational firms and clients. His client portfolio includes RNID, UNISON, DrinkawareMizuno and Christian Aid. Ben leads his own consultancy, Digby and works collaboratively with One Big Field on a variety of projects.

Dan

Dan McNamara, client services
Dan’s unusual combination of skills include client services, digital strategy and implementation. A doer as well as a thinker, he works with clients to bring Digby’s strategy work to life. He’s spent the last two years masterminding and executing innovative digital campaign work for Drinkaware, amongst others. Dan’s previous clients include Kia, Mattel, One Housing Group, Future Publishing and the NHS. Dan works collaboratively with One Big Field on a variety of projects.

Richard

Richard Arnott, service designer
Richard is an independent creative consultant through his new service design agency, servicejunkie. Combining rigorous design thinking with good business understanding and communication skills, he’s an advocate of how a service design approach can create more customer and business value and offer more innovative solutions to complex problems. He has a MA in Design Strategy & Innovation from Brunel University and a BA in Industrial Design from Central Saint Martin’s School of Art & Design.
